The auditorium’s plan is neat. Ramps leading up to the product showcase area lets them be hit by tons of natural light. To me, that gives the post-show display a more personal connection. Rather than them being in a windowless underground venue with perfectly presented lighting, It’s more a ‘real world use’ thing.

Though I wonder about the noise with a thousand people in there… Glass all around (pretty amazing design) and I’d guess thin carpeting above concrete means the ceiling would be the only place for soundproofing.

Peterson was right about it being a bad idea of creating so many groups and subgroups...it will never stop, and you will end up with millions colors on that flag, because eventually everyone will only identify with his/her own group/set with only one person in it - him/herself.

This is what happens when you allow an autonomous culture to exist.

You’re sure it’s the latest? Do you use Safari? Check Preferences/Security/Plug-in Settings for the exact version number (should be 25.0.0.171). They’ve been really annoying as of late and update their 25.0.0.XXX segment frequently, and Apple has disabled several of those numbers due to lack of security.

I only have it installed so that my Firefox install can download the rare SWF I want. I do all my playing using the Projector app.

Aww, now I feel old. This is a picture of the iMac G5 before it was launched! Exclusive! This is part of a set of images released just before the G5 was announced that tried to pass off whatever this is as the new iMac. Everyone mocked it because it looks like it was taken in an elevator. After that, “No elevator shot; this must be a fake” became the new cry every time a new fake (or real) prerelease product image was posted. We used to see way more elaborate fakes back in the day.

The implication is that it isn't. It's utter nonsense. Gender describes the articles that go in front of nouns in languages which gender them.

Biological predisposition is what set the trend, and society grew accustomed to those predispositions. Individuals cause change, society keeps it there and keeps change as a slow progression. The answer is quite innocent. It comes in the form of the most common response from school children, “That sounds boring.” Most men don’t want to be nurses, because it would bore them. To create a perfect 50/50 split in all fields of study would require the elimination of free choice, to force women into engineering, and men into nursing, because the quota demands it. And as for feminists… which fields are they studying? Sociology, Women’s Studies, etc. And what are those? People-oriented tasks. Yep, you read that right. Out of free will, feminists have chosen gender roles.
