I bought an Air because of a need to continue with some documentation work whilst travelling, nothing heavier than that and yet I use it quite a bit on my desk now. I haven't used the SD card slot much, don't think I'll miss it. Extra storage over the 128 GB of FLASH would have been nice. I haven't tested the MagSafe utility yet, happily. I love my glowing Apple and wonder whether it was necessary to remove it. Wonder if Apple had received complaints of distraction or whatever caused by it in classroom settings for example.

The new computer looks great and I''l consider upgrading. Would like to have seen another USB-C port on the opposite side, I'm sure it was considered.

Such was my first impression. An opportunity perhaps.

I am still using my first generation iPad - each day. I'll be ordering the new iPad and pencil upon release. Kid in a candy store!!!
