Apple's iPad Pro designers talk about thinness and the Apple Pencil shadow
I purchased the iPad Pro M4 13” 1TB Standard Glass along with the new Magic Keyboard for iPad Pro and the new Apple Pencil Pro. Here are some facts:1) It is an iPad. It is not a “desktop” or laptop “PC” or Mac.2) It is extremely thin and light weight. With the keyboard is it just 2 ounces heavier than my 2nd Gen. iPad Pro 11” with keyboard.3) it is extremely powerful and fast. It is much faster and many tasks than my old iPad Pro or my 16” MacBook Pro (2019).4) I can do everything I need to do in my daily life except doing application development.5) The 13” OLED screen is fantastic. Bright, fast, and clear. My wife actually asked me if I still needed my MacBook since I purchased the iPad Pro. Yes I do. -
Apple's next big thing could be a home robot

Apple just throwing stuff out there and seeing what sticks lol.
Apple does not seem to be focused. Ring, the apple car, robots now.. When can we expect real things?
There have been many rumored products over the years that never materialized. Steve Jobs talked bout how Apple developed a PDA and scrapped it, there was the rumored audio interface for GarageBand that Think Secret reported and Apple sued them out of existence for covering, I feel like there was a camera in there but that might be wishful thinking on my part. Phones were something they were considering and was born out of the iPad project. So yeah, Apple fiddles with ideas and pursues the one's they think are viable. Kinda the point of R&D.
As for "real" things go, Apple post Steve Job's return isn't a company that ventures into entirely new product lines frequently and they just released did the Apple Vision Pro. I don't think we are going to see a big new products in the near future. Refreshes of existing stuff? Sure.

US DOJ attacks nearly every aspect of Apple's business in massive antitrust suit
They want access to everyone’s phones. This is about the fact that this government is having such a difficult time controlling their narrative and they want more access to be able to control it. Yes, I’m talking about the genocide in Gaza. It’s making clear to everyone the myth that the US as global peacekeeper is just that when the reality is that we are still colonizing the world and we’re the global bullies.Yes, the government wants more access to our phones, messages, and information.Apparently, you have no idea what genocide is. What is happening in Gaza is war. Hamas declared war on Israel and is bent on the genocide all Israelis and all jews. It is their stated goal. Israel is pursuing the destruction of Hamas not the Palestinian people. I feel sorry for the Palestinians in Gaza, but they let Hamas do this since Israel pulled out of Gaza in 2005.
BTW - Genocide is what the Nazi’s were doing in Europe to 6 million jews and 4 million others they didn’t like. Don’t forget the 25 million Russian who died at the hands of the Nazi’s.Sorry about this little tirade… -
'Verifiably untrustworthy' Epic Games iOS app store plans in EU killed by Apple
The iOS market for Epic only represented 7% of their revenue. They did not care about their Fortnite iOS users at all when they violated the contract terms. Their pre-planned media blitz including the video they posted the minute Apple pulled their account shows they didn’t and don’t care about their customers.
