'Verifiably untrustworthy' Epic Games iOS app store plans in EU killed by Apple
The iOS market for Epic only represented 7% of their revenue. They did not care about their Fortnite iOS users at all when they violated the contract terms. Their pre-planned media blitz including the video they posted the minute Apple pulled their account shows they didn’t and don’t care about their customers.

iPhone 15 overheat complaints are inconsistent, and it's unclear what's going on
Initially my iPhone 15 Pro Max seemed hot during the transfer process from my 14 Pro Max. It was also quite warm during the initial charging. However, since then it has not gotten any warmer than my 14 did during charging or use.

Europe coming after Apple's App Store with Digital Markets Act
Let’s screw over the iPhone users so they have the same fun times as Android users and can deal with malware and viruses. They can also get ripped off by other companies selling crap apps in those third party stores and via those other payment systems.How will Apple pay for the infrastructure to maintain the App Store and other services they provide? I guess they can just blame inflation for the rapid rise in prices of apps and services.

They want access to everyone’s phones. This is about the fact that this government is having such a difficult time controlling their narrative and they want more access to be able to control it. Yes, I’m talking about the genocide in Gaza. It’s making clear to everyone the myth that the US as global peacekeeper is just that when the reality is that we are still colonizing the world and we’re the global bullies.Yes, the government wants more access to our phones, messages, and information.Apparently, you have no idea what genocide is. What is happening in Gaza is war. Hamas declared war on Israel and is bent on the genocide all Israelis and all jews. It is their stated goal. Israel is pursuing the destruction of Hamas not the Palestinian people. I feel sorry for the Palestinians in Gaza, but they let Hamas do this since Israel pulled out of Gaza in 2005.
BTW - Genocide is what the Nazi’s were doing in Europe to 6 million jews and 4 million others they didn’t like. Don’t forget the 25 million Russian who died at the hands of the Nazi’s.Sorry about this little tirade…

2024: Apple's 40 year old Macintosh survives another year
My first Apple product was an Apple ][ with 4K of RAM and basically nothing else which I purchased in 1977. Today I am walking around with an iPhone 15 Pro Max with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. My laptop is a MacBook Pro 16” with 32GB of RAM and 2TB of storage. My phone has 2,000,000 times the RAM of my Apple ][ and my laptop has 8,000,000 times the RAM.
