  • Unsurprisingly, a 2020 iPad Pro will bend if you try to break it

Unfortunately publicising this idiot just gets him more clicks and more ad revenue.
Actually I really like this guy and follow him on YouTube. He's not trying to disprove anything or reveal some big secret, he's just showing what the capabilities of the device are.  His teardowns are very informative and give a great insight into the hardware built into devices, I have learned a lot from his videos.

  • Samsung has just launched the Galaxy S20, S20 Plus, and S20 Ultra

I will be very curious to see reviews on the quality of the cameras.  The specs are crazy, but can a super small sensor really deliver a good quality 100 megapixel image?  Also, how good can 10x optical zoom be in that small of a lens?  If they were able to achieve excellent picture quality with those specs, then Apple has some serious competition to deal with.

  • First Apple Music Awards go to Billie Eilish, Lizzo, Lil Nas X [u]

The day heavy metal actually gets recognized for the amount of creativity, talent and musical acumen it takes to play this amazing genre is the day I can finally rejoice.  Pop and rap are a freekin' joke.  Do these 'artists' actually know how to play an instrument or just program a damn drum machine.  Hey Apple, do you even know what bands like Disillusion, Dimhav, Wilderun, Iapetus released this year.  Epic works of art that get overlooked because the label of "metal" makes most just roll their eye.
If you have an Apple music subscription, do yourself a favor, look up the album "The Liberation" by the artist Disillusion and play track #2, Wintertide.  It's a 12 minute track that will blow your mind and hopefully open your eyes!!

  • A closer look at the iPhone 11 Pro's top features

The battery is just as amazing as was advertised.  I've never had such a long battery in a phone before.  I can easily go 2-3 days with moderate use and a full day of heavy use with still 20-30% battery remaining.  It's a workhorse.  I'm actually forgetting to plug it in a night to charge because it doesn't need it.

  • Editorial: Why Microsoft Surface isn't growing after seven years of trying

Honest question:  Have any of you actually tried Surfaces, for work or otherwise?

What are you impressions?  What are the distinct pros and cons?
I've been using the Surface Pro 4 at work for about 2 years now.  It's not a good machine.  It's buggy, even using Microsoft Office, Excel crashes at least a couple times a week.  Using an external monitor is hit and miss.  Sometimes upon boot it won't recognize the monitor without multiple restarts.  Mapping network drives is a constant struggle as it fails to remember which drives I have mapped.  It's slow and heats up quite often.  Our company was pretty excited about the potential of these machines, but has already started phasing them out in favor of HP laptops which are performing much better.  I have not experience the product after the 4th generation so I don't know if they have improved, but based on my experience I would not recommend them.
