In the "free world", should a company need to get permission for the connectors on their devices? If your fellow fascists ran everything, we wouldn't smartphones at all. The very idea of an environmentally filthy country like India getting worked up about the "waste" from a standard Apple connector used on billions of Apple devices is ridiculous. You think India's filthy air, water, and land was caused by piles of iPhone chargers no longer usable by Android switchers? It's not like an iPhone cable and charger aren't useful to an iPhone owner.darkvader said:Good. Announcing/shipping a week earlier will reduce recession risk sufficiently to counter the added risk of rushing the announcement? If the economy really goes to crap then this won't make any difference.Obviously the new model is already in production, etc. but still . . . rushing something like this just increases the chance of something going awry.

I don’t see any claim that Drivesavers is breaking the encryption. If you’re trying to recover your own data, breaking the encryption shouldn’t be a prerequisite.I’ve used Driversavers for a few clients and they do excellent work. Its not cheap but they don’t charge if they fail to deliver. -
