  • Samsung announces Gear S3 iOS-compatible smartwatches, one with LTE

Looks like a piece of sh** $2 watch I can buy at a mom and pop store.

anyone saying this is "elegant" is full of sh**.
Seriously?  Unreal man.  I love my Apple Watch, but those Samsungs look nice to me (although "elegant" isn't how I'd describe them) and I'd definitely consider one if I was in the market for a smart watch.

Can't wait to see what Apple has in store next week.  I'm sure the Watch is going to get a nice upgrade.  I routinely get 2 full days of charge on mine (and that's playing basketball for 2 hours a day while wearing it), but more is always better.  Only wish I have is for improved water resistance.  Wear mine in the shower all the time with no issues, but haven't worn it in the pool or ocean yet.

  • Verizon confirms plans including price hikes, more data & added perks

Verizon is simply the best carrier bar none. Rarely is a call dropped, and their signal is virtually everywhere.
Sometimes you really do get what you pay for.
Exactly.  If you're poor go for TM.  Otherwise go for VZ or AT&T.  Far superior service.

  • Inside iOS 10: Apple Maps will remember where you parked your car

Tim, I love all things Apple, but, MAPS, sucks. It just can't get it done. Go for the good stuff, drop this and partner with, Ugh, Google, who can get you there, and on time. Some things are just not worth the effort.. This is one, Tim
Apple maps is improving faster than Google was based on the timeline (Google Map was nowhere as good as Apple Map on their 4th year), so I wouldn't worry too much. Apple can not rely on important apps like this on 3rd party. The last time they tried, Google denied turn-by-turn navigation on iOS,
Unfortunately that's not really relevant.  Google Maps is much better at present, so there's very little incentive to use Apple Maps.  I keep trying to, since the turn by turn plays over my car's stereo, but last time I tried Apple Maps it kept telling me to turn into a small lake at an office complex.  Switched to GM and it correctly told me my destination was across the street.  Ugh

  • First look: New nylon and milanese bands bring color, style to Apple Watch

I seriously want that Space Black Milanese Loop.  But I just don't think I can justify it.  I already have the regular Milanese Loop and a Sport Band.  I mean, just how much money am I going to spend on bands? :)
Does your Milanese loop pinch the hair on your arm like other metal bands could?
Mine did for the first few weeks I had it.  Now it doesn't anymore.  I play basketball in it and everything, and it doesn't bug me a bit

  • Apple Pay accepted at more than 2M locations, coming to Chick-fil-A, other stores soon

ApplePay still isn't accepted again at Home Depot and I remember reading that they were in talks with Apple. Talks about what? It worked without talking to Apple before they shut it down. I could care less about fast food restaurants, lets get the stores where people actually spend a lot of money.
I've found that odd as well.  I would think they'd have been near the front of the line, given their hacking last year.  They DO accept EMV cards now - why not go ahead and accept Apple Pay as well?  I shop there a decent amount, and would love to be able to use it.
