Rumor: 6.5-inch OLED iPhone roughly same size as iPhone 8 Plus, iOS 12 supports horizontal...
rotateleftbyte said:tmay said:It sure appears that Apple is all in on FaceID II for all new devices, sans, of course, the SE update. I'm kind of pining for Pencil support on the 6.5 inch, but that is likely a bridge too far. I do expect some modest improvements to the cameras, and of course, to the internals.
One of my riding mates has an 'X' and rues the day that he bought it.
Sorry Apple, FaceID is a step too far for me. -
Issues with High Sierra 10.13.4
Seems this is a very common issue, with users on older machines experiencing it BEFORE the 10.13.4 version of High Sierra. Still no fix from Apple. Am also still waiting for them to fix contacts in Messages and scan to network folder, also broken since High Sierra launch with no fix. This really isn't very Apple and frankly not good enough.

UK prisoners might receive iPads to study and communicate with family - report
What a disappointingly unenlightened bunch of replies. For a start they're not being given them to keep - the idea seems to be for them to use during their incarceration. Also, these people are at some stage coming out - presumably we'd all like them to be better prepared and integrated within society than when they went in, for which maintaining family relationships but also being equipped to work is all a part. Have any of those shooting down the idea ever visited a UK or US prison or worked in that sector?
