    Shouldn't be a problem. I'm using a WD 120GB 8MB cache 7200RPM drive on my iMac 333. Just be sure to partition it for OS X.

    Finally got a 120GB WD to boot 9.1 on my iMac 233 Rev. A - I had to set the jumpers to "single or master", no other configuration would be accepted. Don't know about the 333 though. [ 02-03-2003: Message edited by: Haddock. ]

    Its slow as anything on my rev D imac (333), even with 384 megs of ram. I'm certain this is due to X's lack of support for my graphics card. Also with regard to importing i think the lack of speed has something to do with the previews that are generated.

    PS 7b43 is no slower in X than PS 6 is in 9 on my 333 imac (384megs) It is also very solid for a beta.
