10.1 is relatively snappy on my Rev B with 384 MB. Stock box otherwise. Don't keep opening and closing apps, or resizing windows and you'll be fine. After all, OS X is all about task management, so leave all of your apps open if you have >256 MB. -

Oh yeah.... with the soldered 128mb, and only one free slot, it's impossible to have 512mb total in one of the new iBooks. It would have to be 384 or 640. -
