I have VPC5/Windows 98 on my iMac (800Mhz G4, 512Mb RAM) and it's also very slow. It's fine for Minesweeper and Access 2000 but I wouldn't dream of using it for any games which rely on 3D graphics hardware. J :cool: -

I used to have VPC 4 on my PB G3 233. It ran fairly fast using WIndows 95, but was crazy slow with Windows 98. If you can use 95, please do it. I havent tried win2k, so I don't know about it. But 95 is quicker than most. -

I'm running Jaguar 10.2.1 The other day I rebooted in classic (9.2.2) to run Jam 2.6 (Jam 5 for OS-X sucks) and while I had OS9 up and running I just out of curiosity, I opened up Office 98. I only tried Word and Excel, but I had no problems at all. -
