it went from june 8th to the first or second week in august and obviously didn't do very well. remember apple was very disappointed with their promo with pepsi as well, although i heard they are going to retool it and have another go next superbowl. -

IMHO, that HP print ad is even worst than Pepsi's Superbowl campaign. OTOH, it is targeting Wintel users who are used to nightmarish and overly saturated interfaces; maybe PC people will like it, 'cause they "think different". 8) -

I don't know why the SuperBowl rumblings died. It would be the perfect paltform to launch a new PB for both viewership and historical continuity. Now, I'm not saying that PB G5's will come out, but it is just a thought. -
