I just did a quote in the UK applestore for a dual 1.8 with 2mb of ram and 2 250gig drives. I did the same in the US store and the difference was around $1700 This is why I don't have a G5. I'd love to have one though. -

I think Apple needs to associate its other products, and note that "you can test-drive an iPod at your local Applestore." If they let people know that they could go to an Applestore, people would see the other products (and Mac OS X) -
