    A nice thing about using ssh is that it sets up all that stuff automatically. So you might try opening an xterm on your Mac and then sshing to your other machines.

    Nope. In Jaguar, it is 'Remote Logins' and is only for port 22, or SSH login through the command line. Period. 'Remote *Desktop*' sounds like GUI login to me...

    is it on a static IP? what do you need to get jus files? cuz if so just turn on remote FTP or SSH into the thing (the latter I don't know how to do on OSX). But simply put if it had its own static IP you could essentially just FTP into it

    i'll look into the ssh angle. there has to be something where you can send/recieve files anonymously. i just find that with every passing day i hate the RIAA more. i hadn't known it was possible.
