Perhaps not due to being a BB user although he does seem a very cautious and indecisive president, still that's just my opinion not being American and not living in the states could be the reason for that view.

As to this story, any CEO who does not lead their company to continued success should/will eventually be axed, it's their job afterall to steer the company into a profitable direction.

Competition is good for us the users of Apple's products as it forces them to keep inovating to distinguish themselves from others' products so I hope the new CEO's and those that have not been fired yet get on with the show.

And just because I want to beat any union haters to this thread:

UNIONS SUCK

and yes I know unions have NOTHING to do with this thread. I love blogging.

Very much in his style, isn't it. And I think that would prove to be his downfall, unfortunately. Trying to please everyone doesn't work these days. Only the extremist win.

And why do they suck? You have unions to thank for many reasons. 8 hour work days, weekends off, company provided supplies, paid vacations, safety at the workplace, and many others. Was it the fault of the auto workers that GM was building Hummers while Toyota was building Prius'? Yet they were the one's forced to take pay cuts and concessions. None of these C_Os work without a contract, so why shouldn't the workers by able to bargin collectively for a contract? It's people like you that's ruining this country. It's about time some of these CEOs get shown the door. All these companies probably have people with great ideas but their ideas never get past their immediate manager.
