    Hi,

I installed it and tested it on a few sites and applets.

Feels a lot faster to me and the new text rendering and general graphical snappiness is nice.

One thing thats new for that I like is that all my applets used brushed metal interface widgets....

I like the metal look so i'm stoked but I understand i'm a lone voice on that issue....

in my company we use Java for everything. there were some sites that I couldnt access before (Java Applet Failed to Initialize...) but now they work.

All 'seems' to work ok, havent had any glaring problems yet, or at least nothing I could really detect.

Anyone know how to get rid of the Java console that pops up every time I load an applet in Safari? I have disabled "Show Console" in both Applications\\Utilities\\Java\\Java 1.4.1 Plugin Settings and Java Plugin Settings...
