Kate i love high heels on women! Maybe because I have a foot fetish but I like stylish footwear on women. I don't know how comfortable it is for you guys but that's my opinion.

Did you ever try to walk with those? I am feeling quite comfortable up to 3.0" but 4.0" and above is a no go. Not only walking, but sitting also is a problem then.
I just were thinking about getting some new ones and adding them to my heap to break the barrier of 38 pairs.
They don't have to be very tall. I much rather prefer strappy shoes and open toed shoes. Even leather boots with heels are sexy to me. My wife has some nice shoes.
Leather, the deader the better. I love it. Brown, Black, Tan, and Copper hues are my favorites, I don't really like colors, more retro than modern, but none of those eighties monstrosities with the zippers and buttons, uugh! Shoes/Boots: snake skin, aligator print, oil tanned. Accessories: Hats -- Lamb skin, gloves -- deer.
I never really thought about it before, but I really like leather. I don't really wear it all the time, and I'm not a complete fanatic (no leather pants or shirts) but I really like the jackets and coats with small flourishes of more exotic leathers for belts and footwear. So most of the time I just wear comfortable T-shirts and Jeans, and I throw on a sweater when it gets cold. Nothing with logos on it, I hate that. If I can avoid it, I'd rather not have product placement on my body.

Kate lass, you could wear a burlap sack with Windows XP system CDs for for shoes and look just fine...
As for the rest of you fashion horses...
