Since the tablet isn't a phone all you will need is a data plan. Iphone owners will probably be able to add one for a small fee (even though we should already be paying enough) or you could just get a data plan. If this is the model maybe we'll have a choice in carriers for the tablet. (?)

Isn't that like something you eat with figs in it?

You know you're getting old when you start referring to "the youth of today." I believe I held off until I was at least 40.

FWIW, the reference was dual. Newton is also a type of apple, which I believe was named in honor of Sir Isaac.

It's also widely believed that Fig Newtons had an almost equally important roll in the endeavor.

    Sorry...

True, true. Windows was running faster than it could actually boot causing it to crash twice as fast as in regular mode.

Welcome back. Nice to see apple honouring past masters despite some of their shortcomings. There's always room for vision and creativity...

Nice one. Of course, assuming NASA actually went to the moon.

Yeah, I'll start now. Who knows what I'll do when I reach 40. Start researching retirement villages, perhaps.

The youth of today with their Xboxes and Twitters and what nots. Back in my day 2800 baud was blazing fast Internetz... You kids out there probably don't even know what the heck a "baud" is anyways... *shakes fist from my lawn chair* ... And "being green" used to mean you were jealous of your friend's new Game&Watch.

Yup, Newtonian mechanics is of course relevant and useful. However for the next stage of human biology, technology and propulsion to reach Mars and beyond, there needs some serious sh*t to happen in the realm of quantum and subatomic physics.

Biology requires further deep understanding of complex interactions of DNA, RNA etc. and tissue engineering, etc. Brain research requires understanding of all kinds of communication between brain cells, and perhaps understanding of the "resonance" that is "consciousness". Computing will hit a wall in the next 10(?) or 20(?) years, you can only shrink things down and shove electrons around for that long. The next stage is them optical, quantum, etc. computing. Space travel beyond Mars and to our nearest stars will require some next-level energy generation, wormhole usage and so on.

LOL Is it obvious I'm into science fiction? WHERE ARE MY FLYING CARS GAWDDANGIT!! I'll settle for one of them hoverboard skateboards from Back To The Future.

It's funny how the 'leaked' video of MS's Courier 'tablet' features what appears to be the working day of somebody working for Nike as the example user; I would think it unlikely that one marketing dept. would put together such a promo. featuring another major brand so prominently without some communication/collaboration.
