I actually like MT. IMO Mike Tyson is the best boxer of all time. He has KO'd more people inside of 3 rounds than anyone in the history of the sport.
Tyson has had a rough life though, publicly he is thought of as a rapist and a biter. There is proof that Tyson did not rape anyone and he gets all messed up in the ring and the weeks coming up to the fight because he is on heavy anti depressive medication. Tyson was born in a rough 'hood, when he was about 16 he was adopted by Gus D'mato. Gus took him under his guiding wing, a father figure that Mike previously never had. Gus taught Mike everything. A lot of Mike's friends think of him as a friendly teddy bear. A NICE GUY?! Yes. But then Gus died and Tyson was on his own, a heavyweight champ at age 21 with no guidance...except for Don King. Don ****ed Tyson up beyond repair, as a result Mike is now racist even though he was raised by a white itallian, Gus D'Mato.
Tyson is not understood, I grieve for him. A magical career could have flourished. I hope the CHAMP reclaims what is his, the TITLE.

Well, see that's the thing. Tyson has been dehumanized, because he's realized that's what will be most profitable for him. Years of boxing combined with what appears to be limited mental capabilities to begin with has bred an animal. It's all cause and effect. The only thing Tyson understands is "I ACT DUMB = MILLIONS OF DOLLARS." If you want to blame anyone, blame those around him who are of normal intelligence and choose to exploit him anyway (read: Don King).
I look at Mike Tyson in the same way I look at an abused pet who's become violent from the years of torture. Pathetic, but in all probability completely hopeless.
