    People have been saying "the Lounge has been going downhill" every few months for at least the two years I've been around MacNN. It's always the same: John Doe starts frequenting the Lounge, he finds some cool people he likes, then some of the cool people disappear and more people join, many of whom are idiots. He starts pining for "the old days." Repeat cycle.

    Nice cheap shot. I think Demonhood does a fine job; he's one of the few voices of sanity over there. I've found him to be fair-minded and a classy person. It's easy to keep things "relaxed" over here when you have what, one-fifth the member base? Less?

    I just think he's got a little too much of a bent on certain things... what can I say. It is, certainly, a much crazier place to mod... and I'm sure I wouldn't be up to it..

    Well I've been going to MacNN just as long as I've been going to AI (Feb. 2000) and you're right that good members come and go there but overall the past 6 months have been filled with stupid topics. I'd take more posts from Ca$h over some of them.

    I'm not sure if it's really him, but he's been registered here for a while. I remember when AI came back he registered and said that he wanted to see what Ai was like, or something like that.
