    Nah, here's what you need.

They actually decided to really make the thing. <img src="graemlins/smokin.gif" border="0" alt="[Chilling]" />

The real magic lurks behind the driver in the artfully rendered engine compartment. Lead by respected, daresay revered, performance god John Coletti, SVT Engineering built a worthy DOHC 5.4-liter V-8 fitted with four-valve heads and force-fed with a Roots-type Eaton supercharger. Peak output hits 500 horsepower and 500 lb-ft of torque, comparable to the 7.0-liter engine that won the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1966 and 1967. Those figures also match the 2003 Dodge Viper's output exactly.

I would look like a freak clambering out of a MiniCooper.

Other than that, they look awesome.

yeah, but its also coming at the same time as the EVO VII...

the EVO is just a better car...and much better design to look at--but both cars rock. i cant wait til they come...finally some of the good cars make it to the US...

That GT40 has the "so ugly it's beautiful" thing going on.

    I dig that machine.

I can't seem to find pics/specs of the EVO VII....

hmm...i find the GT40 to be just beautiful--i dont see it as ugly at all...

the Mini cooper, OTOH, is butt ugly. i dont understand why people love them so much...

    its nothing special...

its just a fad...and will pass...

all jap cars are limited to 280 hp out of the factory, and the STi and EVO VII are both roughly that. but the lancer is just such a pure rally car. its hard to say this, but its even better at rallying than the STi--its that good. its won too many championships to say "prove it." the results prove the hype fer itself...

i just hope they dont water down the US version like everything else...

It's mcuh stronger when it packs a rotary under the hood. (And yes, there is such a thing).

As for rally cars, I have no real clue. I just got the poster for free at an auto show.

Take that hideous spoiler off it and paint it a decent color then we'll talk.

I think the WRX is better looking than that, the WRX looks more friendly.

    Just my opinion, of course.

The 2002 WRX is gods gift to mankind. I just dig those bug-eye headlights.

Plus not only is a honda killer, you can laugh at all the smucks in their SUV's when they try to go in the snow. And im speaking from experience.

Subies are the best snow cars on the planet, other than Landrovers and Hummers.

BMW 530i or the Audi A6 2.7T quattro. My pref is the Audi, but you can't go wrong with either.

Although I do like Infiniti, specifically the Q45 and G35...
