How about all white, but make the screen negative to match (like hitting "Ctrl-Opt-Cmd-8" on a Mac)? Sort of a bizarro "ghost" phone.
Settings > General > Accesibility > White on Black :-))
Personally I thought the white back looked awkward on the 3G/3GS. This looks a lot nicer as a solution but can Apple please update the colour of the accessories; docks etc.
