We shall smite thee with the dunk.

We shall smite thee with the lay-in.

Attempts to hack us will be in vain, for we shall get the foul shot in addition to the basket.

Your star players will be left swinging at air

Our fans will drink all your Sprite.

Dirk Nowitzki will deny you access to the basket.

We will import Pat Green to seduce your women with his fun-filled Country-Western stylings.

Michael Finley will school your arrogant superstars.

Our Mexican will deny your shots faster than the INS deports his countrymen.

Texas Basketball Sucks! At least the Mavs are somewhat respectable this year!

I think a Mavs/Kings vs. Nets finals is just what the NBA needs right now.

    Jeff

Edit, that said, the smart money's still on the

f***ing Lakers, regular season records notwithstanding.

Wow groverat, wait till the Mavs have a decent team to post about your love for them huh?

First off, what the f*ck is goin on with my dogg Nowitzki? He's sat out 4 games, and I heard he might sit out the playoffs. The Mavs should be tough, but we all know the NBA.

The facts are that the Fakers will most likely win, due to their marketing. The NBA is fixed, we all know that. So depending on which Finals series the NBA feels will be most marketable, and whether a team can get over the refs and Stern, the Fakers should win.

The Nets? Please! Once my Pacers are in the playoffs, the Nets will found out the hard way.

    BOOM BABY!

Its time to roll time to roll Pacers

56-24 is a bit more decent than 40-40, would you say?

If they play each other, the Nets will most likely sweep the Pacers.

Um whatever. 10 wins or 60 wins, I will always be a Pacers fan. I doubt you can say you have that kind of loyalty towards the Mavericks. My team has been in the playoffs year in and year out.

The East is wide open buddy. In case you didnt know, all the good teams are in the West. The West is stacked, and the East teams arent all that good. Anything can happen in a 5 game series. The Nets are not a powerhouse team.

How old are you again, thug life, 12?

The Mavericks have one of the least impressive histories as a basketball franchise but I've been die hard since I was aware of my human existence. I've got pictures of me at 10-years-old in my Mavs shirts at reunion arean watching us barely win a dozen games in a year.

Yes, there are a ton of bandwagon Mavericks fans out there.

Even now people aren't going to just start loving the Mavericks enough to brag about them, only to say, "Yeah, the Mavericks, isn't it funny that they're actually good now?"

I was watching Ro Blackman and Mark Aguire ball while you were still sucking your mother's dick.

You can be a Pacers fan, that's fine, but don't act like they are good (and talk shit about teams that are 4x as good as they are) when there are 8 teams better than them in their weak-ass conference.

Anyway, pray to God that they make the playoffs, they'll need it.

That would be amazing. I've been a Nets fan for a few years now and I'd love to see them in the finals, especially against Dallas. I really like the Maverickstoo, they've got a great team.

Unfortunately, I don't know if the Nets could do it. The whole East is pretty bad, so anyone could really win the eastern confrence.

Hey, Tiger-I think Jamall Tinsley has the best handle I've maybe EVER seen, and I go back to the mid-eighties. I worshiped that guy at ISU.

I agree that the East is wide open, I could see the 8th seed go to Finals. I think New Jersey is the funnest team to watch.

    Kidd for MVP!

    LMAO!

You're pretty funny. Actually I'm 18, and I really dont give a f*ck how old you are. You can be older than, but Im positive you dont more about the NBA and basketball than I do. Ever since I first shot a basketball I've loved the Pacers, and I will continue to be die hard. I'm not even from Indiana either, and I hate the Hoosiers. pacers vs. celtics with The Rifleman, Miller, Detlef Schrempf......those were some intense playoff games. Who could forget 8 pts in 8 seconds?

4 times as good as they are? LMAO. Get a clue. What tema would that be? You dont know anything if you seriously believe that. I dont think you can say the Mavericks are 4 times as good as the Bulls.

I'll say theyre good. You know why theyre 40-40? You know why the probably will lose? Hmmm, lets see, how about because they have a horrible coach. Say anything you want....just because Isiah was a great player doesnt mean he can coach, and he cant. Playing a guy who was a huge factor in the 2000 Finals very little? How about limiting the shots of your 2 all star caliber players Miller & Rose, so that we can watch Bender & Harrington grow. There's a time for that later Isiah.

I shouldnt even answer your pathetic post.

    4 times as good....dont make me laugh...LOL.

Hell, I even like this Maverick team.

No doubt. Id been following Tinsley in college, and I cant tell you how excited I was when they announced that pick. the guy was a lottery pick, and the pacers ended up with a steal. best point in the draft, his handles are SICK!

Jamaal Tinsley will be a star. Did you watch the Rookie vs. Sophomores game? That move he did was INSANE!

    Mmmk.

    [quote]Detlef Schrempf

Hey, that's our boy, we drafted him.

Well, your boys are 0-2 against mine this year and your boys will be lucky to sniff the playoffs.

And well, the Bulls are a joke, kind of like my Mavericks were 5-6 years ago.

[quote]Hell, I even like this Maverick team.

Really? That's kind of surprising considering they don't have any rappers on their team. Perhaps the addition of Van Exel piqued your interest.

Nice list of excuses, but all teams have problems like that. I didn't make excuses when my Mavericks were mediocre/below-mediocre, so don't start on your team. It makes you look like a homer.

Funny thing, I never saw JT in person at ISU, but my friend got tickets to a game vs the Twolves in March. I was blown away! Smoooooth beyond belief!

PS-Bender dunked on Garnett twice, and both time KG came down and got offensive fouls the next trip. Minnesota was in a long loosing streak and Indiana just pasted them.

    Jeff

Oops, I meant O'Neal, not Bender-he owned most of the game.

LOL. That was a pretty stupid comment right there. How lame are you?

    NICK ThE QUICK!! CINCINNATI BEARCATS!

I love Nick the Quick's game. the mavericks should be glad they have him.

Van Exel played for that '92 squad that made the Final Four. Hmm....too bad they always eem to choke nowadays.

Groverat-did you like the big trade Dallas did this year?

I liked Hardaway's leadership on the young team, and Van Exel can be a flake.

Yes. JT Money's game is sick.

I miss Jalen, Walsh is an idiot. F8ck Artest, Miller, Mercer. Jalen is a superstar. Seeing him in a Bulls jersey makes me cringe.

I miss the Davis brothers too. Dale isnt getting a chance to prove his All Star abilities in Portland.

    Anywayz, Lackers suck.

Watch out for the CAVS next season! Andre 3000! The whole world loves it when youre in the news!

Big game tomorrow, I can watch it on Fox Sports Net too since the Pacers play the Cavs. Or on channel 43 (6). Better not be a stupid Indians game on instead.
