Are mods and admins going to be required to wear these t-shirts whilst going about their duties?
If so, I want creative input! And I'm stating here and now, I will not wear a McDonald's-style visor while serving.

I doubt it...
don't worry. I called Giorgio and he's giving a bit of creative input on this one... unfortunately the price is going to go up a bit...

I seem to recall something about a moderator catsuit that you wear while doing this job. I think I can speak for the rest of us that we're not all that interested in interfering with your fashion choices.

I was thinking perhaps some kind of tiara?

Not to worry. I'll just need to boost the female population at AI to make a mini-T financially viable.

Easy, tiger. While I'm not currently at the peak of fitness, there are now two admins I can send round to beat you up. And you'll quickly go off the idea of catsuits once you've seen robo in his...
I think you should combine a stylized (pen-stroke type design) Apple with the Spy vs Spy looking characters plotting subterfuge from opposite sides of the Apple.
I think it captures the spirit of this place (and Jonathan's new and very much improved forum captioning)
So we need to get a design (or two or three) for these shirts/mugs etc. Design contest!
I'm going to say that it'd be better to not have designs submitted on the forums, so that people won't be swayed by whose design it is.
If you have a potential design, email it to me.
jonathan at appleinsider dot com.
I will post a new thread with the different designs.
Guidelines:
The Printing Service supports three picture file formats, Bitmaps (BMP), GIF's and JPG's. The logo can be color.. It's probably best to save these things as bitmaps just because it's the most lossless. When sending the design to me, make a .jpg out of it, for ease of viewing in the forums...
Whichever format you decide on using, save all files in RGB color mode. They need to be between 150 and 300 DPI.
The printing options for shirts are 8x10 or 10x8 centered, 6x6 pocket, 10x4 shoulders... so first a logo/slogan needs to be decided upon, then placement... remember, we can have multiple designs to cater to individual tastes... there are no up-front costs to us, they print everything on-demand. We could, theoretically, make a different shirt for everyone... let's hope that doesn't happen, though. I don't want to do the 'forum screen name on the chest' or something like that, though. too difficult.

And a coffee mug too, even though I don't drink coffee.
Also, keychain? Static decals? Coo little business card sized ID things, like "Official Member...", just for giggles.

Can we make the T´s personally? Like "X from" and then the logo?

I'm pretty sure "AppleInsiders go down more often" isn't something any of us want printed on our chests...
