    As I have coped the vinyls to MP3 and ripped the CDs myself to MP3, no they are not copy protected. Vinyl records, not being digital, cant be digitally protected.

    I took your use of the term, i.e., "copy protected", as it applies to copyright, which it still is, and not to technological protection measures as you meant.

    I wonder if those people know what the Genius feature does? It scans the library for recommended albums and songs...unless they haven't activated it...
