It's never a good idea to go with a .0 release and since 4.2 is the first release for iPad of iOS 4 and who knows how reliable AirPlay will be or if AirPrint will even work, I think it is best if we all skip this update and wait for 4.3. Let's not be the guinea pigs here.

Well, seeing as Apple seem to have let a whole host of bugs into this release I very much doubt that this build will make it to the public.

Issues with Safari, settings app etc, network dropouts and more.

Couldn't find my copy of the first 4.2 GM so went back to 4.1

Will wait for next beta or final release before updating again.

Key word is "candidates" as in there is the distinct and explicit possibility it will not be released. There is a reason the GM's are distributed to BETA TESTERS before they are released to the public. If Apple was not willing to hold a release back and make changes, why have a beta?
