    Haven't been able to post since the UBB vomited all over itself, so I just wanted to thank all those who have posted useful info even if I didn't reply directly.

    I suspect you're going to need more than strong grades and test scores. I believe that given the surplus of highly qualified applicants, they tend to favor people who stand out in non-academic ways: personal history, work experience, community involvement, demonstrated leadership ability, overcoming hardships, etc. Check the websites of some schools you're interested in, and they'll probably have plenty of specific admissions info to work with.



    I'm 29 now, but, for personal, financial and academic reasons, I probably wouldn't go until 2004. I don't think there's any huge rush. It's worth taking your time and doing it right, imo.
