<strong>I think Matsu gets my vote because of his / her extraordinarily funny "I just cleaned my hard drive with Windolene and now my machine won't boot" thread. Funnier even than 'Fish to Gish'.
I remember the details: a nasty Compaq tower with a white Apple sticker attached to the front. That the thread was called, with great understatement, something like "Machine Won't Boot: Help!". And the speed with which he posted images on the board's suggestions (seeing the drive attached to a microwave, tooled with carpentry equipment and the like) was something else.</strong><hr></blockquote>

The person who made me lauge the most on these forums was probably littlecuss, but I'm with anders here, Hassan gets my 2 cents... (or whatever the expression is...)
While voting for just one person sucks, I think I will place my vote for Outsider. I think overall he contributed a lot of interesting thread ideas, and has something intelligent to say on a variety of issues. Also cracked me up once or twice if I remember right.
That said, honorable mentions must go to: alliance, Artman (Flyers Suck! ), BR, BRussell, Groverat, Nordstrodamus (sp?), programmer, powerdoc and Mr. Scates.
[Edited for extra inclusions in the HM list and for general posterity since I edit almost every post I write (because I am borderline not sane).]
Moogs (for precision posting), Outsider (who used to make my blood boil), pfflam (for music taste) and Matsu (because he gots sense and he's articulate like, although he wants to burn 1 Infinite Loop to the ground.)
And Murbot because he launched the funniest thread the board has ever known.
Edit: and Groverat, because he doesn't care what you think.

AICY - vargus - basically because of the way he makes jokes blend into statements which can be taken seriously (glad to see you've learnt from the master dude)
AIHY - PRY3 - this states back to an earlier thread in which we had a brief confruntation.....and i nearly got band from the site (according to rumors)
which brings me onto
AIPY - powerdoc - hmmm basically because you closed said thread in the interest of everyone concerned, fair play to you
but now the main event, the big daddy, the piece da resistance...
AIMY - after careful thought i narrowed my selection down to two members on the AI board.
although i've only been on the board a short period of time, these are the guys who have stuck out as being, in my opinion, the best post on the AI board... Anders and @Artman@
however there can only be one choice and so my vote for AIMY goes to....

Hey BRussell and Outsider - have you guys cast your secret ballots yet? Remember: rock the vote! And as you can see I'm not above some ever-so-subtle campaigning. Personally I thought the Jim Carey thing was kinda humorous, but apparently no one else did. I just don't want to be one of those poor bastards with no votes. [PR snip] If I can gain the votes of those I respect, than I need not win to have suceeded.
Not only that, but you guys have taken a long time. I thought I was going overboard by putting a single day into investigating old threads to find a winner. Thorough, thy name is BRussell and Outsider!
