You need to be registered with the foreign/national press association. For that, you need to be backed by another member IIRC, and they do have to be a genuine journalist.
And then you have to get a press pass from the Expo organisers, prove that you are a member of the press association, then voila, a press pass is granted if you check out.

They haven't answered yet whether i could participate for the key note or not.. so i'm afraid that means a "no"
So i suppose i better go *now* to have a look what tickets i can find... what i'm trying to getwould arrive in Paris then 8.30 on tuesady, so for getting to the key note from the gare it'll be too late..
We still have no master plan on how we are going to recognize each other. Do all Apple Expo visitors from here have a picture on the community site? Err, I for instance haven't...
