Nothing, however, is below 128.The remaining 2/3 of my iTunes collection are from actual CDs I own (all my Beatles, Petty, Crow, Isaak, Yoakam, Fleetwood Mac, Earle, Emmylou, Morrison, Stones, CCR, various individual acts that I only own one CD by, like a greatest hits, such as ABBA, Steve Miller Band, Foster & Lloyd, Duran Duran, The Pretenders, Buck Owens, Haggard, George Jones, etc., bands I only own one CD by and bought them for only 1 or 2 songs, like Everclear, Sara Evans and BR5-49, and TONS of compilation CDs - 80's, new wave, disco, country, surf, rockabilly, bluegrass, etc.I've got a wide-ranging, goofy collection of music! And all of those are encoded at iTune's default setting of 160 kbps, which, for me, is totally fine works good enough for custom mix CDs and (eventual) iPod usage. Gonna buy myself an iPod for Christmas...the 10GB model.[ 09-19-2002: Message edited by: pscates ]</p> Reply 13 of 29 i-bent-my-wookie Posts: 326member September 19, 2002 8:57PM 1640 songs, 5 days, 9.62GB. 136 Albums.
