Bonds gets a HR in his first Series at bat? J. T. Snow looked great both at the plate and with his glove. And it was still a tight game - very well-played too. This could be a good one. I'm hoping for almost constant changes of momentum. Giants draw first blood, 4-3.

Man, if Reggie Sanders and JT Snow can hit, then damn, the Giants aren't gonna lose.

One annoying point, all these articles I'm reading about the series keep mentioning how the Angels lost the first game of the LDS and LCS and still one the series. But those losses were on the road. I don't think there's anyway that Anaheim can win more the one game at Pac Bell. The giants are too good at home.

Oh, and tonight, I say **** the DH, and let Russ hit. The man has a sweet swing.

Russ is a decent hitter, but it's better to let him focus on pitching rather than have him try to produce something offensive. It would be a waste not to use someone like Dunston against Appier tonight.

Oh, no we're not. Just look how fast we got over our hangovers in the first inning. (Boy, that was a party) But those kinds of errors won't happen again. The giants will be victorous! <img src="graemlins/smokin.gif" border="0" alt="[Chilling]" />

    *Note the smilies...

Tim Salmon thought the same thing. It should land in San Francisco right around practice time tomorrow.

I don't know which one was cooler... the one he hit halfway into McCovey Cove in NLCS Game 3 or the one he hit tonight.

You can't stop them, you can only hope to contain them. Go Angels!

The G-Men will be lucky if they even win another game. The way the Angels hit everything, I doubt if they will.

I knew that would happen. The Giants don't have a Schilling or Johnson. The closest thing they have is Jason Schmidt, who despite winning in Game 1, did not dominate the Angels. Not one 15 game winner during the season, let alone 20 games.

SF's pitching just can't handle Anaheim's insane firebats.

SF has to get something out of their starters. The last two games they've been atrocious. If they don't get their act together soon, this will be a short series.

I can't see Rueter doing anything different than what Hernandez and Ortiz did. He will get pummeled. He's finessey, and if he doesn't get those corner calls, which haven't been getting called really anyway, he's gonna be forced to throw strikes and the Angels will jump all over him.

The 3 games the Angels have lost have been close. They stay in the game and they produce when they have to. If the Giants don't get ahead early or keep runners off the basepaths, I don't see them leaving San Francisco.

Here's hoping I'm right about Rueter and the Angels kick the sh!t out of them. I hate the Giants more than the Yankees. And I hate the Yankees.

what a crummy presentation of the most memorable moments in major league baseball history.... half of those shouldn't be there.

where's the shot heard round the world?

    where's don larsen's perfect game?

    buckner's error?

    willie mays basket catch?

and to be honest, is there really a moment more memorable and more historic than Gerhig's fairwell speech? "the luckiest man" will always be the most memorable moment.

Thats not even a true baseball moment. It is a speech not part of a game. Yankee fans.

And what the heck was with Andy Garcia speaking like he barely knows English ... or Ray Liotta screaming at the top of his lungs?
