You know, it took me about six years or so to work up the courage to buy a fish taco at Rubio's. But once I did, I was hooked. They are delicious! I was only upset that I wasted six years not eating them.

And their lobster burrito? Oh man...

You have to do what I did and just get past that horrible name. Trust me!

Well, I'll be back out there early next month, so I'll have to give it a try. If it sucks though I'm coming after you for recommending it!

    meh.

American Music Awards? Wow. Big event.

    Were'nt like 90% of the winners no-shows?

Patricia Heaton? Wasn't she the woman who wrote a book on her tummy tucks and breast enlarge (or de-large)ments?

What's the point? In fact, who cares? Sorry, I don't.

But he takes time to write five lines about why he doesn't care. Interesting.

You're a bit late to the party anyway, my man. This thread peaked yesterday afternoon.

And yes, the lobster burrito is amazing: bits of lobster, guacomole, some sort of sauce, a little cilantro, rice, beans all in a warm flour tortilla shell.

    Holy cow, I'm drooling now...

Quite possibly the worst idea ever stated here. People wouldn't stand for it. And a few might even resort to violence to prevent that from happening.

Although, lots of my threads tend to have a pretty good go-around and shelf life. They often get to 2 (or more) pages and everyone (most of the "regulars") usually stops by to chime in and state their opinion or contribute.

They occasionally will get highjacked and mucked-up or thrown WAY off course, but not too bad.

San Diego had the best Mexican food. I was there for a week and ate Mexican every day. Never tried the fish Tacos though.

<img src="graemlins/lol.gif" border="0" alt="[Laughing]" /> Hey who was responsible for throwing this one off with the great taco story? (of course I went another direction too, sorry scates.) There are some great threads in AppleOutsider archives from last year. I came across that taco story and Murbot's great hard drive "data recovery" thread when reading a few weeks ago. Ah. Good times were had by all.

The first time I read Murbot's hard drive story, I laughed so hard my stomach hurt!

It started off "real" enough, then just got completely silly and I couldn't stop reading and laughing.

    THAT was a great thread!

To tell you the truth, I didn't pick up on it being a joke until later in the thread. But I think that made it even funnier to me!
