Imported (extra points if the bar has these on tap rather than in bottles)

    1. Newcastle Brown Ale

    2. Guinness

    3. Bass Ale

    4. Harp Lager

    Domestic:

    1. Legend Brown Ale (brewed here)

    2. Anything from Wild Goose -- the IPA is especially good.

    3. Yuengling Black & Tan

    4. Nothing from a can.

I'm no beer afcionado, so I'm sure you'll all laugh at me, but I like Tuborg. (I'm sure all you Danes are laughing now), but I think it's damn good. Too bad I can't find it in the U.S..

Newcastle brown ale (aka dog) - gotta drink it ice cold. let it go warm and it morphs from beer into filth.

drinking loads of it in a big session also leads, with grim inevitability to evil hangover. I suspect the brewing process includes the addition of headache toxins to try and catch us out. found this out the hard way.

    hang loose

Well, it started cold, but I made no effort to finish it off quickly since I was having it along with dinner. As for the aftereffects, you can definitely feel it in your gut, even after just one pint, but I don't know about it being headache juice.

    Coopers Sparking Ale..

    Honest to God..

Unless you have tried it..you really don't know what your missing..

Yes it is Australian, but this ale has won so many awards all over the world..

It is bloody hard to get as a result..but if you ever want to experience " brewed in the bottle " taste..this is it..

Aromatic caramel honey with silk smoothness..what a drop..

Surely you mean their Vintage Ale? Six pack of that and you're off your tits...

Duval and Chimay tend to be more to my liking.

Domestic isn't a problem. It's the mass produced crape that I can't stand.

Among my favorites are from Pyramid Alehouse (excellent barbeque pizza too!)

Another is the Alaskan Amber from Alaska Brewing .

And last is one can't find in stores so I don't get it much and that just about anything from the Homer Brewery . Talk about a microbrew.

But right now all I've got is Jack (John Daniels to his friends) and I gotta save some for my husband when he gets back from fishing. \
