This is a good reason to keep $50 billion on-hand.

Got spent on their top secret program to digitize Steve Jobs brain and upload him into their North Carolina data centre.

If you want a country like that, move to China, they are real fair. Thinking like that is one of the main reasons the country is in the shape it is. This country was founded on FREEDOM not fair. Show me the right of everything being fair in the Constitution. This country is GREAT because of it's Freedoms not fairness.

And if you haven't read it yet, grab a free copy from the Ayn Rand Institute here:

Wish I'd known. A hell of a lot cheaper than the bad sex scenes from my last two wives.

Hmmm.... you need to bring yourself up to speed on global affairs.

I've got news for you: China doesn't do production quotas anymore.

There was some knucklehead blogger on another site that said Apple's iPad numbers were going to feel the squeeze because of the Amazon tablet order. I'm fairly sure Apple had orders far in advance of Amazon and there's no way that component vendor would short Apple to satisfy Amazon. I tried to find the article some hours later but I couldn't locate it. I didn't come across it in a cursory glance through my browser history. All I know is that some of these bloggers can really distort the facts with their own opinions.

IMO, MOST of them really distort the facts with their own opinions. Eyes and the revenue they bring are more important than fair or truthful.

Fair?!? Since when did we become a socialist state? The playing field is level. Having the gov't step in with "quota"s tilts the playing field. The problem is, how is this supposedly fair quota, set? How often is it updated? So, the gov't decides the winners and losers now?

Oh well at least the internet keeps such people off the streets, otherwise I'm sure that guy would be outside terrifying old people by attempting to hook a zune up to a playbook in a public park.

It's really weird because one minute you're reading a paean of praise for radical free market economics, and the next the metal making dude is driving his pile into the railroad lady and it's all fairly dom-sub and hardcore. Then they pull their pants back on and talk about politics.

Government controlled distribution of consumer products! I cannot believe a thinking person would even think of such a concept. Is this the type of thinking being considered by citizens . . . electorate . . . in this country? That was the approach to the Communist economy in Russia and you see how well that worked. That is not democracy or libertarian beliefs. Sounds like a totalitarian approach!

What a coincidence! I am just reading Atlas Shrugged and this sounds exactly like the Equality of Economic Opportunity bill!
