Well it gives the hipsters (and wannabe hipsters) in the crowd something to stand up and clap about so they appear hip to the other hip people in the room ("oooh, I LOVE The Clash...'Rock the Casbah' and 'Should I Stay Or Should I Go' are milestones!"

All those idiots who jumped to their feet and made smoke with they hands from excessive clapping after Eminem performed need to be slapped. But of young, snotty "suits" lunging for "street cred" and "hey, I might not have any talent and only work in an office at the record label, but I'm hip enough to 'get' this rap stuff...watch me stand up and clap with great forced enthusiasm and a look of serious appreciation for the art!"

One guy in particular made me laugh out loud. He just couldn't get enough Eminem apparently.

Little pissant probably isn't aware of anything that isn't on the Billboard charts.

hmmm... I have both CDs from the Clash and Chris Cross. It's a little scary when I think about it.

Norah Jones? Never heard of her, but apparently I will soon. *sigh* I'm so out of it. Well, I hope those nice BeeGees boys did well this year.
