Is there an alliance that could transform Apple?
Apple-IBM
Apple-Disney
Apple-AOL
Apple-Sony
Apple-AMD
Apple-IBM would get my vote for the best way to ensure corporate sales, and who would underestimate the power of IBM. Not I for one.
Apple-AMD would shock, but would it do this trick?

Eisner isn't currently getting along with much of anyone in the Tech industry right now.

Yes, but I believe that Microsoft already closed an exclusive deal with them.
Apple Microsoft
<strong>Apple + SGI + Alias Wavefront + Macromedia

Sounds cool, but wouldn't a company of that magnitude be poised to take over rival Adobe or would *gasp* antitrust regulations prohibit such a move?
EDIT: onlooker beat me to the punch. bastard.

One can only hope that in Motorola there lurks someone evil and vile enough to bring the POWER back into Powermacs.
(not that it's even possible, really)
I would like Macromedia to have the freedom to develop server software with no constraints from a partner/parent company as far as "platform" preference.
Having said that, I think ColdFusion should run on OS X--and an alliance would ensure that.
