You sign up to a website and instead of giving a helping hand to the OP you attack the very person who did just that. Tell me, did you post while standing in front of a mirror¿
I just reviewed a really fun video series for learning all you could want and more about the iPad and so if your a beginner, intermediate, or advanced user it might be something worth checking into. You can find the link on my blog.
Either help people or don't. There's no reason to be a dick about it. Unless you ARE a dick. Try and remember that not everyone in the world can be as smart as you. Yes, people will ask stupid (subjective) questions. If a question is beneath you, move on rather than throw out cheap shots. If your ego needs a boost, try helping rather than demeaning people.
What a bunch of assholes. Why don't you actually try helping instead of pounding your intellectual chest, dickhead
Nah. Maybe don’t need your hand held for every single thing in life? Do some work yourself. How on Earth do you think we learned how the thing works? How you expect to actually use your device when you’re too lazy to look up how to do anything with it on your own is beyond me.
It’s only funny that this thread keeps popping up. That just means that more people are searching for exactly the same thing. And then instead of laughing at their own foolishness–“Silly me; how could I have missed something so obvious!”–they whine about how “mean” others are when they say exactly what needs said.
The person had a question...a good one, that apparently others might have. Isn't this where you go to ask such questions?
Being there are a number of music apps that have NOTHING to do with iTunes, and that on PC applications, which many people use, iTunes IS the player, why would anyone ASSUME that the iTunes App for iPad DOESN'T also contain the music player??? Playing with the iPad by the "try it" method (which I did), and playing music through the Music app (which I did), does not PRECLUDE the possibility that there is a player in the iTunes app. And, in fact, on other platforms where I do have a choice regarding music players, I still choose iTunes because I like it. Yet, when I do it on the iPad, just like I would anywhere else, there's no player. How are you going to know this by "touching it"?
It's not a matter of just pushing buttons...it's a matter of someone saying "Hey, they separated the functions into two apps". You'd think this would be easy to say, but instead folks post useless drivel about "just try it", bragging about their experience, and apparently making themselves feel smart by bagging on the newbie with a question and saying how lame they are for not finding the answer themselves.
Luckily, someone was kind enough to actually just answer the question. As for the rest of you folks, if you can't actually help, why don't you go find an elementary school or something and go bully the kids, or maybe find a class for new Apple users and laugh at the folks trying to figure it out...but for the sake of the rest of us, leave "helping" to those that want to help.
There is no iTunes icon on some people's ipad and the appstore only has itunes u and other crap not the software. Obviously people are asking because there wasn't a simple solution.
If you don't want to help don't sign up for this. Go back to your basement to jerk off and drink slurpees you fucking useless nerds.
I, too am new to the ipad. Just got my first apple product, recently. If this is the type of smart-ass help these forums provide, I will be along learning curve. Apple products are easy to use, as long as you know how to use them and all the tricks to their use. I have read several pages of responses to the original question and not one suggestion to help. I had the same issue and was hoping to get some assistance but all that was here was cocky attitude and sarcasm. Thanks guys.
Really snotty response....narcissism , yuck! If you require a certain tech level from a help seeker, then don't reply. Or are you on here to demean others as a way to pump up your already over-inflated image of yourself? Double yuck!
Comments
(I’m baffled as to why).
Because it didn’t happen, boyo. If you’re unwilling to use the product, no amount of politeness can help.
Tallest Skil,
You are a complete jackass. Full stop.
- Sincerely, anyone.
lol, use the product.

Why do even read posts if you are going to be an asshole in your responses? Really?

Why do even sign up to website if you are going to come to the rescue of people who refuse to do any work of their own?
Entitlement generation is officially dead, people. We’re fighting back. Wipe your own behinds.

Somebody need to get over themselves and go back to macrumors.

I resent that! Whenever I feel depressed I come here for my fix¡
