They hate their customers. Do yourself a favor, never use them.
I happen to still be a Verizon customer for several things, my landline, DSL and 4 cell phone plan over several decades. It all randomly and without strategy fell in place, but it does give me one ability, and that is that when I say without pause that there is no company that is more horrible to deal with, is more apt to screw your accounts up and be more impossible to fix problems with, I can say it with 25 years first hand experience.
The only reason I don't drop them all is that I hear my share of negative stories about all the alternatives in my area, so out of the frying pan into the fire and all that. But Verizon (all five of their not related but intertwined Verizon named companies) is my #1 most despised company that I have to deal with.
Horrible. If they said the sky was blue I'd excuse myself to go outside and check.
