People actually go to www.icloud.com ? Interesting......
Um, yeah. I do it every weekday from my desktop machine at work where access to external email through a pop3/imap connection is blocked. iCloud.com is the only way for me to check my .mac/.me email.
I'm still trying to figure out why Messages/Notifications don't seem to sync from the iPhone to the iPad and so on. I've looked in Settings but I don't see it. Wondering if it's just me, but that seems like an obvious feature so that you have the same state for message and notification history on all devices. Any ideas?
Make sure the 'caller ID' on your phone is set to your email address for messages, not your phone #. This way they will stay in sync, and everything will be contained in one conversation thread if you receive or send iMessages from your phone, ipad, or mac.

Ooh! What a terrible idea! Sounds like something Google would do with their cloud offerings.
Fortunately, that won't be the case.
A test of a new banner notification feature at Apple's official iCloud website was mistakenly made public .
