    Um, yeah. I do it every weekday from my desktop machine at work where access to external email through a pop3/imap connection is blocked. is the only way for me to check my .mac/.me email.

    Make sure the 'caller ID' on your phone is set to your email address for messages, not your phone #. This way they will stay in sync, and everything will be contained in one conversation thread if you receive or send iMessages from your phone, ipad, or mac.
