Just sad the processor speed is low. Apple *really* need a huge bump there!

However that 1Mb L3 cache is worth at least 200Mhz in CPU speed.
Audio Line-in is back!!
Better screen and Higher Res
Better Video Card/Memory
Better Proscessor and Cache

uhm... is it? on the spec pdf, it says "line out", no word of a line in there. would be nice, though.

Prices now include VAT, ans this is A Good Thing®™
The new PowerBook specs are great ( not quite awesome, 1GHz + 1600*1024 rez would be awesome ).
I want one !
800Mhz is going to be no problem with 10.2 I think.
[quote] Is this the first time Apple has released something before the rumors expected it? I've seen April 30th as the release date several places, and lots of WWDC expectations, but Steve got it out before then. Hmm...
Given there must be at least a thousand posts over at AppleInsider explaining how the 17" iMac will never happen, could Steve be toying with us? What's next, the Newton?

Here is another hint: True evidence that Bluetooth was planned to be included...

Just spit it out already!

IR port. What do I win?
I would like to have seen DDR RAM and 867/1GHz models. I'm assuming they use the same model of the G4 as the previous revision of the PB, seeing as it's not DDR-RAM?

Interesting question. This also has the L3 cache. It must be the Apollo, but is it the 7445 or 7455? I thought the (cacheless) 7445 was the pin-compatible chip for the previous machine. So is this a new mobo?
BTW: I think I'm going to get one (through work). It has virtually everything we were looking for in an upgraded PBook. Now I just hope they don't come out with a new iBook to confuse me.
