...complete with moving hands on the Clock app...

I just don't get why anyone cared about that. You have a clock literally one to three inches away, at all times. Any situation in which you could see the Clock app icon in the first place would also allow you to see that clock.

In the case of dynamic icons, Weather is one I could see people having an almost legitimate complaint about (at least, if not dynamic, not showing a static temperature at all, which they've done), but someone said in another thread that people get used to how their apps look, which is absolutely true. You couldn't have weather changing dynamically, as the look would change too much. It's a fundamental straight out of every textbook, so good on Apple for recognizing that.

This is how I hold my iPad, it is very comfortable, and I can navigate through most things in this manner (without reaching to the middle of the screen). Clearly Apple approves and condones holding the iPad in this was, as they built in a feature to allow the user to type on a split keyboard so you do not have to change your grip constantly. So, then why must I change my grip to use notification center? Also the quick preview of apps in the App store has my same gripes. If nothing else we should be able to scroll up and down when it pops up with something like that.

I just wish Apple would care about Dashboard on OS X a little bit more (read: at all since its introduction in TIGER) and update the widgets to match iOS. I want animated weather on my Mac! And having the rest of the widgets (hey, Apple, maybe create a few more, too?) match across all Apple devices would be great.

And if Apple changes the Weather widget, maybe then it will finally stop RANDOMLY MOVING AROUND THE SCREEN AND NOT STAYING WHERE I PUT IT like it has been on every version and every clean install on every computer I've owned of every OS I've had since 10.4.6.
