Wow as soon as I saw the source Digitimes I ended the read.   Why anyone would listen to the national inquirer of tech news is beyond me.  Actually the National Inquirer gets things right more often then Digitimes.

I not concern with the iPhone 5S or even the 6! Purchase another state of the art phone in the mean time. Why is Samsung and HTC not having troubles like Apple has. Been a loyal Apple buyer but no longer! They seem to be loosing ground!

Look at the source "DigiTimes".  Dont ever base reality on what those morons say.

Actually if you read the tech columns you would find that HTC had terrible manufacturing issues getting there latest HTC one out the door it was delayed 4 times then was available for about 3 months in limited quantities.   As for samsung they just poop out plastic crap and let you worry about the problems.  With them it does not really matter because they will have a new iteration of that phone in a month anyway and call it new and improved.  What they meant to say was "we fixed what was wrong with the first iteration".  I think at current count there are 12 different models of the GS4 line not including carrier specifics.

I think you missed out on both possibly correct answers to Hairy Wild:

    1. Apple isn't having any troubles, and nothing is delayed.

    2. Begone, troll!

Unsurprisingly, smartphone fingerprint sensors are already rolling out. One of the first phones to incorporate it comes from Pantech, big in Korea but almost unheard of in the US. One of the other Apple rumor sites mentions that fingerprint sensors on smartphones are the "new black" and several vendors are including them.
