Just wanted to say that if Apple was having a Sept 10 event iOS and Mavericks would have GM builds out for developers by now. Also with the iPad Mini 2/ with retina display and iPad 4 not being in beta outside of apple, would there be an iOS 7 build out there with higher ppi icons like those used in the iPhone 4S and 5 and iPods to cut work in half? There have been leaks of the devices shells and glass fronts already in production... Can we all agree on an October Event instead to have Apple launch all the products at the same time... IPhone 5C, iPhone 5S/6, iPad Mini, Mac Pro, iPod Nano with iOS 7 blurred glass designs, iPad 4 for spring 2014, and the iWatch with iHealth in Next OS X by Fall 2014. By then the iPhone should have an even higher ppi and longer battery life with waterproof technology, USB 3.1, iOS 8, and that will be followed by fiber optic USB cables that can transfer files up to 100 GB/s and electromagnetic screens that allow you to feel textures in the screens and feel like your touching a physical button by sending you electrical sensations through your finger tips. Then that will be followed by all week long battery life, better Graphics in games of up to 100 GB/s bandwidth in TF, and Macs would have received retina displays, and a bump in die size from broad well processors and better GPU chips from AMD.

Nope, that's in no way assured. Particularly OS X, which wouldn't be released at this event.

Also with the iPad Mini 2/ with retina display and iPad 4…

    5?

…would there be an iOS 7 build out there with higher ppi icons like those used in the iPhone 4S and 5 and iPods to cut work in half?

Huh? It would be iOS 7 just like any other.

No. There's no point "agreeing" on anything, but we certainly can't discount a September 10 release. The iPhone isn't going to be RELEASED at this event; it will be shown and then released in October. That gives another entire month for iOS betas.

…launch all the products at the same time…

    That's just dumb. Really dumb.

By then the iPhone should have an even higher ppi…

    Zero point.

    …waterproof…

Why? Don't drop it in the toilet; problem solved.

    …USB 3.1…

Already has Lightning. Doesn't need USB. Why would they waste their time with USB?

    …fiber optic USB cables…

Again. Already has Lightning. Doesn't need USB. Cables are meaningless. NAND speeds are what dictate data transfer.

…electromagnetic screens that allow you to feel textures in the screens…

OOH, there was a proof of concept tablet that had this. I think it's neat. Not sure how it's anything but a gimmick, but giving the entire UI texture differences would be interesting, and possibly useful.

…Macs would have received retina displays…

Let's hope. Heck, let's hope that happens with the Haswell iMac.

Are you also suggesting they ban books? Because your average book worm is likely to need vision correction too.

It is just par the course for anyone continuously viewing very small text viewed close to your nose.

    "devices"...

That was the context of the post and it was in regard to screen sizes.

Yes,it a bit of as quirk of smartphone tech wars that the top end big screen phones also have a higher DPI thus possibly resulting in even smaller text being used.
