I continue to find it hilarious that you are the only one who ever brings it up, telling us “over and over” that I “don’t have an iPhone”. Keep fighting the good fight.

You know exactly what I meant. Yes we all know you have a 1st gen iPhone that is not activated. But you have told us repeatedly you do not have a modern iPhone as in at least iPhone 4 or later and even a 4 is pushing it as a modern iPhone.  My point is you make comments like a 5" iPhone would make your skin crawl which is ridiculous considering you won't buy a iOS 7 capable iPhone that has a 4" screen that you claim is perfect.  I have been a member here far longer than you and so I am not a hit and run poster and you have told me and many other long term members to shut up and go away dozens of times. So don't dare try and pretend you only say that to new members. If you hate these "drive by" posts then report them and let the actual mods do their job instead of derailing threads and quoting them.

So.....here are the facts in Japan. And as goes Japan so will go China. Notice the absence of Samsung, Google, Sony, Nokia etc..... And see the FACTS on the 5C much I'm sure to your dismay.
    GAME OVER !!!
"Apple Inc.'s iPhone 5s is proving to be popular in Japan as the iOS device dominated sales charts among the country's three major carriers.
The iPhone 5s placed among seven of the top 10 spots on the weekly sales rankings provided by Japan's BCN.

The top spot went to the iPhone 5s' 32GB model from mobile carrier SoftBank, followed by the 32GB model from NTT DoCoMo, and the same internal storage model from carrier au/KDDI rounding the top three.
The iPhone 5c secured two spots, fifth and sixth places, for its 16GB model from SoftBank and au/KDDI, respectively.

The remaining spots went to the iPhone 5s, ranging between the 16GB and 64GB models.
Apple, however, did not hold the tenth position as it went to a low-end Chinese device by ZTE."

You have to come to realize the truth.  Absent a new design, and without a bombing of Japan with iPhones, yep, they'd have to close stores.

When Phil Schiller gets on stage and says "Can't Innovate, My A**" and then pans to a shot of the co-founder, Steve Wozniak, you have to say, yes, they're at the bottom of the barrel for ideas.

So, the new MacPro based on a design used for an aluminum can based on patents jointly owned by Ball Aluminum Manufacturing (whom owns a number of patents on extruded aluminum manufacturing)  as well as others.  It's not really that exciting.  The new Mac Pro likely came into creation by Apple Designers and Engineers probably bought a Draught-keg of Heineken.

A Draught-keg's manufacturing is a very similar process to that used to manufacture aluminum cans, Draught-kegs, and Pony Kegs.   Just watch Phil Schiller's PR video to make a MacPro.

Perhaps Jony Ive will make a larger, extruded aluminum "Keg" design and call that a Mac Server!

Jony Ive is a uber hero in my mind.  And as long as he doesn't freshen up and shave, all you'll need is to add water, and hops to the new Mac Pro while it sits on his desk.  It's the best thing to bring to parties.

    Sorry to hear that.

I'd provide additional Oxford pleasantries, but it seems you have none.   You should be happy because--  Amsterdam-based Heineken was one of the very first companies to bring Pony-Keg processes to the US.

These manufacturing processes are extremely similar to those used to make the new Mac Pro.   So, forget the Mac Pro; and grab a Draught-keg of your favorite beer.   Sorry your having a bad day.

    Cheers!

You’re psychotic. I’m not sorry. Whatever mental processes made you think this is not only related but a valid complaint are not something to be coddled or even passively ignored. Not to mention the ego that makes my personal (vague) assertions about what products are best for Apple seem like design by committee:

Ive done this before, and saved Apples ass multiple times

    Also, source? Proof? Anything?

Making a new MacPro based on a design used for an aluminum can based on patents jointly owned by Ball Canning and others is not really that exciting.

Same for this. And who are you to say what is and is not exciting, given that you’re completely and utterly wrong about this since you don’t have a clue what the Mac Pro is for?

It's the method for cooling the system that was what they were referring to as innovative.  One fan with the heat sink design that they are using for the amount of processing power inside a small space is what hasn't been done before.

Saved Apple's ass multiple times?  Really?  Prove it.

How would closing Apple stores save them?  Apple's retail store earn the most gross and net profit than any other retail store chain in the world.

I think you are an idiot just spouting worthless nonsense.

    Malcolm,

Grow up. You are just wasting everyone's time with your personal jealousy for Apple.

Yes - all blocking does is hide posts (including replies to your posts) when you view the thread.

No question about that. This is a strange case, as the poster in question appears to be a troll in the purest sense - posting mostly off-topic nonsense solely to disrupt and annoy, but maintaining a civil tone to avoid infractions. I don't recognize the condescending style or the rather bizarre mixture of fact and fiction, so maybe not a repeat account. If completely ignored it will probably wander off to greener pastures.
