New Sony Ericsson Z1010 3G phone
Sony Ericsson just introduced the new Z1010 3G mobile phone at the 3GSM Word Congress in Cannes. It's a cool flip-phone with two built-in cameras, one for video-conferencing, the other for pictures. It's got "long range" Bluetooth and tons more stuff. Looks good to me.
Harald: Any inside info on this new beauty?
BTW: My brother-in-law is attending the congress in Cannes. I'll quiz him upon his return.

Nice phone.
I bet I'll need a mortgage.
1. i cant find where it says the frequencies that the gsm mode supports. is it tri-band 900/1800/1900?
2 in the context of this fon, is umts synonomous with wcdma? and therefore would work in a wcdma market?
thnx!
(edited: found it: only 900/1800: therefore no usa)

No Sir.
Sorry Sir.

Right.
Harald, I see you've drawn around a Nomad with a pencil and put an ariel on top. Pathetic. Detention. And you, Escher.
Good God, why do I bother trying.

Yeah. After seeing a P800 behind glass at CDG airport over Christmas, I finally saw one in real life. Yesterday, some kid on the metro was playing games on a P800. He looked kinda silly poking around with a stylus for a Tetris-like game. Didn't have a chance to pin him down to ask where he got it and how he liked it.
Especially once Apple and SE finally get the P800 to work with iCal, it will be a good option. I just can't believe it's already almost a year old and we still can't get it here in the US.

I don't understand why Apple hasn't updated iSync's phone compatibility. But on the other hand, what ever became of SE's Mac commitment.
Harald:
Can you tell us a little bit about the 610's form factor?
