    Well, you know it's a PC box running Linux I think..or Winblows. Either way they were too cheap to splurge for OSX Server.

    Putting a forum that will be under this kind of load on a G4 server running OS X would be not only a gratuitous waste of money but probably not such a good idea. While it would be super point-click easy to administer the thing, and you'd have 31337 drop shadows and transparency and magnifying docks where nobody would see them, it couldn't possibly do the job better. But of course if you wanna buy them a nice new server, you can go right ahead Johnny.

    I dont mind it running on a P3, as long as it not running Windows. I know, it really doesnt matter.
