[quote]This is an Apple made myth. OSX is Apple's best effort in copying Windows NT.

Microsoft knew they couldn't live off a dos shell forever so they introduced NT, something businesses could use. With 2k and XP they are marketing those same features to consumers. Apple is finally getting something robust and scaleable with OSX. That is the copying.
Apple has been researching a next-generation Mac OS since 1985. Their search for a system with OS X's buzzword compliance began long before Windows NT saw the light of day. To say that OS X is copying NT is absurd. It would be more accurate to say that Windows 95 copied both Mac OS and NeXTStep to arrive at its interface, and then both companies found their own ways to rebuild their offerings on more robust foundations - which is (long overdue) common sense, not any significant innovation.
This is where two or more competitors work together in keeping themselves in a position of profitability by working together in that same task? hmmm, did that make sense? But it's true...
Bill Gates and Steve Jobs do the same thing. Jeez, they even hang out together sometimes!
Funny, no "Apple Myths" page on Microsoft's site, eh?
