applenut, you're my new hero. It's hilarious seeing your typical "quote" arguing style outside of the AppleInsider boards. It catches everyone off guard.

    Nice work, too, EmAn.

    I love this guy's post:

[quote]... but my piece of shit 300mhz pc at home gives me better photoshop and illustrator performance than any mac i've ever used (and that includes the new(ish) powermac g4 800mhz) so you can disagree with me and tell my i'm wrong all you want... but my opinion is based on my own experience.

WTF?!?! A 300 MHz Pentium beating a Dual 800 in Photoshop and Illustrator?

What is this guy injecting into his ****ing brain as he posts this stuff? Amazing.

I have a PII 300 and I can't even stand to rip an MP3 at 96 kbps - I have to go and take a nap and come back an hour later when it's done.

Some people just should never have been born. WOW.

BTW nice posting applenut. Making a real splash over there.

I have stayed out of this argument for a while now and have come to a conclusion. The egos on this board rival Steve Jobs'!

I know how Applenut came to the conclusion that BJ doesnt know anything about macs because he speaks as if he is an authority on the subject :

    1. He reads PC biased publications.

    2. He took some courses in college.

    3. No Mac he has ever seen beats a PC in any speed test.

I think it is safe to say that most of the people on this board do not know anything about Macs except for the "newbies" who have intruded to set the ignorant, close minded, and full of shit PC users straight.

Obviously none of you know that there is something in life called inspiration. Please read the words below to understand what Macs mean to me.

Creativity: More than something that can define our place in the world and sometimes even outlive us,its also how we advance as individuals and how we make things better-even in a small way-for the people around us and for generations yet to come. To bring something new into this world is the single most important human endeavor.

Each of us is creative. Whether were writing a memo or composing a symphony, taking thoughts distilling them into something meaningful is a uniquely human process. And the tool we use to transform an idea into action can be as much a source of inspiration as a means to an end.

And the most flexible and powerful tool yet created for translating dreams into reality is, in itself, a monument to human creativity.

    The Macintosh.

What Apples products have in common has been largely unnoticed by you, the

When I first heard Steve Jobs describe the Mac as a digital hub for a multi media lifestyle, I was impressed. But I would go a step further and say that the Mac is a creativity hub too. It is one thing to fill our lives with cool gadgets such as Palm devices, MP3 and DVD players. It is another thing entirely to allow us to fill those devices with music worth listening to and movies worth watching.

In this box is everything you need to mix music, edit movies, paint pictures, craft web sites, write novels or just be creative. It is your inspiration toolbox. And who doesn't want to be more inspired? While Apple and Steve Jobs wrap up computers in the industries most compelling packages, it has always been what?s inside the box that really counts even if the computers are just as beautiful on the outside.

I posted this, I hope this does something to soften their thick skills.

Hehe. I would post but both sides make good points...there's nothing really to add. Black Jesus actually does know what he's talking about though, unfortunately he misses on some Macintosh concepts.
