Never thought about this part, geeks could use them in a self help mode, they could watch a porno so they know how to have sex with another person and they can do it in real time.

Yikes! Guess Google Glass is opening my eyes, and that's not a good thing. I can see it all now, the picture is more clear and transparent than ever; thanks Google¡
My daughter is going through extensive vision therapy, due to a concussion she suffer and had side effect which because her eyes no longer track together properly. She has consent headaches all the time because of this issue. Based on what we learned from the doctors, I knew this was going to happen with Google glasses. It is one thing to use something like this which forces only one eye to focus on an object once in a while, but using it all the time, it will cause eye strain and cause the muscle to not working together anymore.
This where the geek factor fails to understand the real world use and human usability factor. But this all generate news for Google and Google seems to benefit from good and bad news equally well.
Remember back when Googles Glass first came out and we were talking about it on this forum?
I and many others viewed it as an obnoxious device that invades people's privacy, and the argument from a few defenders was that there's this red light that turns on whenever it's recording, so there! What brilliant logic (naive idiocy) these defenders had. And then I said, so f*cking what, somebody will obviously figure out a way to disable it, and that's already been taken care of now!
I'm not at all surprised that certain Glassholes have been involved in various incidents, and frankly, most of them deserved it. I can definitely see more Glassholes being beaten up in the future, because some of them are definitely looking for trouble. Nobody had better walk up to me and ask me any questions while wearing that recording device on their face.
What's teling is that Google employees/execs are not wearing them in public or during presentations anymore. Why? They did so for a couple years, just to show us how "normal" it was, as if we'd stop noticing the massive bulge in front of their faces. But now, the've stopped because even they are too embarrassed so do so. It's ok though, half of Google+ profile pics are taken with this abomination on their faces. The great thing about how Google does shit shit is it allows them to slowly draw down and back away from the product, without much financial damage. Imagine if they actually had real conviction in this thing- set a real launch date, and manufactured millions to hit that launch date, even before anyone has touched the product- as Apple does. Because they actually, truly believe in what they sell. Google? They need to do a market test and a massive online campaign before they even decide if its worth launching.
Glasses give me eye and head pain on a regular basis.
I wear glasses for extended periods of time (I need it for reading), and even though I got a terrible headache from wearing Google Glass, I've never once got one from wearing my regular glasses. The problem with GG is how it makes you squint with one eye that is constantly switching back and forth between the 'real' world and the silly GG world.
Not trying to be snarky, but perhaps you need to see a professional regarding your glasses.

Then you would appreciate this guy then, he is not doing anything illegal and actually he is just doing what thousands of camera around most cities and building do 24/7 but this guy invokes a reaction by just standing there.
Surely the best warning label is simply photos of people wearing Glass? Should put any sane person off.
I'm amazed that Google seem so determined to continue with a project that to most people is so obviously doomed. Ugly, expensive, publically reviled and provides no practical benefit to the user, and yet they continue to push it like it's actually going to go on sale one day... It seems to have an internal momentum that cannot be stopped no matter what the beta testers say, reminds me very much of Vista and Win8 prior to release. What's the point of beta testing and getting early adopter feedback if you then ignore it and make no real changes to the product?

Just when you think you can have Sex with Glass
It's a joke of a product. A solution in search of a problem. Incredibly poorly designed both hardware-wise and software-wise. By idiots, for idiots.
I tried one on for about half an hour, and couldn't stand it. Had a really massive headache afterwards.

The eye pain for the user is nothing in comparison to the pain in the ass for others around them.
"Are you looking at me..."
I think the eye pain is caused by Glassholes being punched in the face for wearing the dumb things in public.
CRAP! You beat me to it. Same exact joke popped into my head when I read the headline. Great minds....
The 'eye pain' is from being slugged by people who don't want morons recording everything.
-EDIT: I wasn't the first to suggest that. Well, great minds, and all that.
But will they make more than they spent on the things in the first place?

The nice thing is they will have a great video of the battery to press criminal charges.
I had to quickly read all the posts prior so I could be first! Haha.
Seems like if this is actually the case Google Glass does more damage than... well it never really did any good did it?
AI is too nice to tell the real story ...
Google Glass found to cause eye pain in some new users ... and the rest ... A$$ pain!

On another news ... Sergey Brin, the inventor of stupid Glass, got himself in some trouble!
Wearing Glass at the wrong time ... wrong place!

But the judge will dismiss the case and charge the Google Glass wearer for inciting the incident. Wouldn't that be nice? LOL...
